IRONKAST®     Stair Nosings  (ST-2502)
Are made for poured concrete or terrazzo stairs in virgin grain silicon carbide granules embedded into the walking surface while the matrix is in a molten state. All metals shall be furnish in natural metal finish alloy for exterior and interior use. They are corrosion resistant and the Ironkast® shall have one coat of shop applied black paint. Several designs are self-supporting, requiring no risers or bracing. Other designs are installed with carrier angles and risers. The choices are many. The longest wearing effective anti-slip protection is guaranteed for the life of the stairway.

SAFE-NOSE®  Stair Nosings  (ST-2505)
Suitable for both interior or exterior use, Safe-Nose® proven non-slip safety is provided by super-hard abrasives locked into a strudy, extruded aluminum base of alloy 6063-T6, heat-treated for high-strength. They are ideal for medium to heavy pedestrian use with poured or precast concrete, terrazzo, steel pan cement-filled or wood stairs.

The Safe-Tred® is designed to combine top level performance with bottom-line economy. These sturdy treads are perfect for most stairway requirements.
Safe-Treds® are manufactured of high quality, heavy duty extruded aluminum. An exclusive safety traction surface, consisting of special epoxy abrasive non-slip particles, is bonded and locked into strips within the aluminum base. The result is an attractive, extremely durable step that provides a high degree of safety. Typical applications include schools, public buildings, hospitals and industry. Safe-Tred® designs for renovation treads shown are 9/32" thick. Lip 1-1/8" from underside. Holes drilled and countersunk.
